How to Make Frozen Pizza Exciting

Jump to Recipe

I love frozen pizza. Listen, Albert and I both pride ourselves on being good cooks but frozen pizza is awesome. There is virtually no clean up, no prep time, just open the box, pop the pizza in the oven and it’s done! We love getting plain cheese pizza so we can customize the toppings with what we’ve got in the fridge.

Frozen pizza should be treated like an artist’s pre-stretched blank canvas, just waiting for creativity to be poured over its gooey melty cheese. Because of how easy it is to make it’s one of our go-to quick and easy meals. Hey, even chefs need a break!

Another great thing about it is you can turn it into a family activity or an indoor date night. Just assign a family member to veggie chopping or cheese grating duty! Typically we like to load our pizza with the some of the same things we place on our charcuterie board; any assortment of fresh veggies, nice italian deli meats, extra cheese (usually mozzarella or feta) and hot peppers.
